Activity:
- Fixing bugs
- Implementing feedback from playtesting to the game
Notes:
Most important problems from feedback:
1. level:
Respawn after dying did not reset the timer
Missing countdown so player could not see how long he needs to dodge.
2. level:
There are few bugged places where player got stuck and could not leave unless level was restarted.
3. level:
Players got lost in it and could not finish the level.
Smaller problems from feedback:
All levels:
-Door scaling and bacground scaling was not feeling good.
Fixing problems:
1. level
- Added coutdown to the part of first level that needed it.
- Fixing respawn so after dying it reset countdown.
2. level
- Updating Tilemap of the level
3. level
- Explaining more things about the level for the players.
- Adding indicator of information to the left and right side so player can see if new object spawns or new door opens.
4. level
- Fixing smaller bugs I was able to find.
All level
- Fixed scaling of doors and background.
Invested hours:
5 hours.
Outcome:
Finished fixed build of the game.
